Max Kruse is Vice President, Agribusiness, of the Danish Agribusiness Fund (DAF). He has been with the Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU – the fund manager of DAF) from 1981 to 1984 and again from 1990.  He has extensive experience with agribusiness investments, financial restructuring, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.

Short bio

He has worked four years as Group Deputy Managing Director of Jos International Breweries in Nigeria, comprising a large-scale farming operation.  He has a Master of Laws of Copenhagen University.

DAF was launched in January 2016.  The Danish Government and IFU have committed 40 million Euros, and two Danish pension funds (PKA and Pension Danmark) have committed 53 million Euros each.
