Short bio

Prior to MEDA, Shakir worked in various private sector industries including manufacturing, mining, financial and consulting services. He holds an MBA in International Business and Sustainability as well as a Graduate Diploma in Business and the Environment from the Schulich School of Business at York University, Toronto, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India.
